For one, we give you your full hour or 90 minute session, and we don't hesitate to go a few minutes over if we're into some specific work that needs to be finished. No 45-minute "hours" here! We also are experienced career therapists with extremely high standards, love what we do, and are always energetic and ready to give our best. We do not support the Discount Massage industry because it does a great disservice to massage therapists and the practice of massage in general by de-valuing the service itself. Massage therapy is hard work, physically and mentally, and discount massage places only pay their therapists about $15 per hour before tax. Therefore, a therapist has to do half a dozen (or more) massages in a day just to get their bills paid and many are burned out physically and emotionally. At Awakening Spirit, we rarely take more than 3-4 massages in an eight hour shift. This way, we are relaxed and ready for you every time. You'll never be our eighth client of the day!
